Our Mission

PubLife is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to hospitality workers facing unexpected medical expenses. We serve the Kansas City metropolitan area.

PubLife exists to make sure that support is already in place.

Why PubLife Exists

PubLife was officially founded in 2026, but its roots go back much further. Its founder spent over twenty years in the service industry and saw a consistent pattern. Hospitality workers were often forced to choose between basic necessities and healthcare.

The pandemic exposed and intensified many of the challenges hospitality workers already faced. Those who remained became the backbone of the industry, continuing to serve their communities through days, nights, weekends, and holidays with resilience and pride.

Medical issues became more severe. When they hit, support was often limited or inconsistent.

Our Commitment

Our goal is simple: deliver fast, dignified help to people who need it, when they need it most.

When the system falls short, PubLife steps in to help.
