The 2026 Lawn Party

A Community Celebration Supporting Hospitality Workers

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, PubLife hosted its inaugural PubLife Presents: Lawn Party at F°325 BBQ in North Kansas City. The afternoon brought together members of the hospitality community and local supporters for live music, lawn games, raffle prizes, silent auction items, great food, and an opportunity to connect with the community.

The Lawn Party was an important first step in PubLife's event and fundraising efforts, helping introduce our mission to more people while raising support for our work serving hospitality workers facing unforeseen medical expenses.

PubLife is grateful to the sponsors, donors, volunteers, partners, performers, and everyone who joined us and helped make our first Lawn Party possible.

Hospitality Leadership Symposium

A Conversation for the Hospitality Community

On September 29, 2026, PubLife hosted the PubLife Presents: Hospitality Leadership Symposium, bringing together hospitality professionals and community partners for an evening focused on the challenges facing people who work in the hospitality industry.

The program featured presentations from Heather and two clinicians addressing burnout prevention and preserving mental health in the hospitality environment.

The Symposium created an opportunity for hospitality professionals and community members to come together, learn from experienced professionals, and have meaningful conversations about the pressures of hospitality work and the importance of supporting the people who serve our community.

The event reflects an important part of PubLife's broader mission: supporting hospitality workers not only when an unexpected medical expense creates a financial burden, but also by helping build a stronger, more connected hospitality community.
